Inside Aniston's House

Inside Aniston's House

What prompted the discussion was DeGeneres and Mayer's recounting their both having been to Aniston's housewarming party for her new hi-tech residence. As described by Mayer, "There is no normal thing in the Aniston house. You won't find a light switch.

The light switch is not antiquated – there is a six-button light panel. It does everything. The top button is 'on,' and the button right below that one seems to be an air horn, so in the middle of the night it's very difficult." Mayer also admits it's all a bit too much.

"I just want a switch that glows orange. Just give me a switch that glows orange, and I can swing my arm up [and turn on the light]. I don't want a smart-home button."

Jennifer Aniston says split with Brad Pitt made her 'superhuman'

Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston has said her split with former husband Brad Pitt made her "superhuman".

The actress, who turns 40 this week, said she thought she would be with the Benjamin Button star for the rest of her life after marrying in 2000.

But they broke up five years later and he went on to set up home with Angelina Jolie.
Aniston then dated a series of men including funnyman actor Vince Vaughn.

Now she is with US musician John Mayer, who it is rumoured may use her birthday this week to propose.

Former Friends' star Aniston said: "My split with Brad was the hardest thing I ever went through.

"But it made me strong, superhuman.

"Now I'm turning 40 and I'm very excited. When they say youth is wasted on the young, it's so true."

She said that she "adores" Mayer, who is nine years her junior and she met as a Hollywood party.

Aniston also spoke about her hopes of being a mother.

"Do I want to have children? I do, and I will," she told the News of the World.
"The women who inspire me are the ones who have families and children.
"Why would I want to limit myself? I want to have it all."

The actress - currently starring in He's Just Not That Into You - turns 40 on Wednesday.

On Saturday she threw a party at her Beverly Hills mansion, where guests reportedly included former Friends co-star Courtney Cox and rock star Sheryl Crow.

Jennifer Aniston Saves Dog

The actress catches a Siberian Husky running loose along busy Sunset Boulevard.

Jennifer Aniston starred in a doggie drama over the weekend, and no, it wasn’t “Marley & Me.”
Aniston was driving on Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills when she spotted a Siberian Husky running loose along the busy road. The actress pulled over to the side, jumped out of her car, and slowly approached the dog.

Aniston managed to grab the dog by its collar. A nearby paparazzo – who caught most of the scene on film – had seen the dog escape from a yard and went to alert the owner.
Aniston owns several dogs herself, and talks about them frequently during interviews. While promoting “Marley & Me” before the holidays, Aniston explained how dogs are superior to men in an interview with USA Today.

“Men come and go but there really is no relationship like the one you have with a dog,” Aniston said. “But then they don’t live as long as they should.

“You have to say goodbye way too soon,” she added. “It’s just so sad. It makes me so sad. But their love is unconditional and I love that.
